Thomas Huot, Ph.D.

Thomas is a member of the Healthcare Practice Group of VantagePoint Venture Partners focusing principally in biotechnology. Prior to joining VantagePoint in 2004, Thomas was an Investment Analyst with CDP Capital Technology Ventures where he developed new fields of investment for the firm in the areas of diabetes and metabolic diseases. Earlier in his career, Thomas served as Project Manager for Genopole, a business incubator specializing in biotechnology companies responsible for conducting technical and economic feasibility studies. Thomas is a graduate of the University College London (PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology) and University Paris XI, Orsay (M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Biochemistry).
