Muzammil Mansuri, Ph.D.

Dr. Muz Mansuri is CGI’s Executive Chairman and CEO. He is also a Senior Advisor for JSB Partners. Prior to joining JSB Partners in 2006, Dr. Mansuri was a General Partner at Flagship Ventures. Prior to joining JSB in 2006, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of GPC Biotech, Boston following GPC's acquisition of Mitotix in March 2000. Dr. Mansuri was with Mitotix since 1994, most recently holding the post of Chief Executive Officer. Mitotix was acquired by Genome Pharmaceuticals to form GPC in March, 2000. Before he joined Mitotix, Dr. Mansuri spent nearly ten years at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in various research positions, culminating in Director, Central Chemistry. Dr. Mansuri has served as a Director of BG Medicine, Adaptive Therapeutics, and AVEO Pharmaceuticals. He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from University College, London.
